Job Description:

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Assistant Administrative Manager to join our operations at the Sagamu-Interchange industrial hub. This role is designed for a professional who can bridge the gap between office administration and factory floor operations. You will be responsible for synchronizing support across production, engineering, and logistics teams while ensuring that administrative costs and facility standards are strictly managed.

The ideal candidate possesses significant experience in a manufacturing environment and understands the unique pace and compliance requirements of a busy industrial site.

Requirements:

Operational & Team Coordination

  • Administrative Oversight: Support the daily administrative flow within both the factory and office environments.

  • Cross-Functional Support: Coordinate administrative requirements for the production, engineering, and logistics departments to ensure zero operational delays.

  • Staff Supervision: Lead and supervise administrative staff, including clerks, front desk personnel, and facility support teams.

Facility & Resource Management

  • Supply Chain Coordination: Manage office supplies and factory consumables, maintaining strong relationships with vendors to ensure consistent availability.

  • Facility Upkeep: Assist in the management of essential facility services, including cleaning, security, and utility coordination.

  • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate staff records, attendance, and leave tracking. Prepare detailed reports on operational performance and administrative costs.

Compliance & Internal Controls

  • Standard Adherence: Ensure all operations comply with company policies, safety standards (HSE), and relevant regulatory requirements.

  • Audit Support: Actively support internal and external audits, inspections, and the implementation of internal control processes.

  • Internal Communication: Manage meeting schedules, internal communications, and organizational calendars to keep all teams aligned.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.

  • Experience:

    • 5–10 years of experience in administration.

    • Specific experience in a manufacturing or factory setting (FMCG or bottling experience is highly preferred).

  • Technical Skills:

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

    • Familiarity with HR processes, compliance standards, and audit procedures.

  • Core Competencies:

    • Industrial Awareness: Basic knowledge of factory operations and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced industrial environment.

    • Organization: Exceptional multitasking and organizational skills.

    • Communication: Strong interpersonal abilities to manage a diverse workforce and external vendors.

    • Attention to Detail: Precision in record-keeping and problem-solving.

Salary

N600,000 - N700,000 per month.
