Job Description:
- We are seeking an experienced and results-oriented Area Sales Manager to oversee sales operations and drive business growth within the assigned territory.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for achieving sales targets, expanding market share, strengthening distributor and customer relationships, and leading the sales team to deliver exceptional performance.
- The ideal candidate should possess strong experience within the FMCG industry and have a proven ability to develop effective sales strategies, manage distributor networks, and identify new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve regional sales targets and business objectives.
- Drive sales growth by expanding market penetration and increasing product visibility.
- Build, manage, and strengthen relationships with key distributors, wholesalers, sub-dealers, and retail partners.
- Monitor distributor performance and ensure adequate product availability across assigned territories.
- Lead, coach, mentor, and motivate the sales team to consistently achieve and exceed performance targets.
- Identify new business opportunities and expand the customer base within the assigned region.
- Conduct regular market visits to evaluate sales performance, competitor activities, and market trends.
- Gather customer feedback and provide market intelligence to support strategic business decisions.
- Prepare periodic sales forecasts, reports, and performance analyses for management.
- Ensure compliance with company sales policies, pricing guidelines, and operational standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Supply Chain, and Customer Service, to ensure seamless business operations.
Requirements:
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's Degree or HND in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 3–5 years of sales management experience within the FMCG industry.
- Proven track record of consistently achieving sales and revenue targets.
- Experience managing distributors, wholesalers, and dealer networks.
- Strong leadership, coaching, and people management skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management abilities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
Salary
