Job Description:

We are seeking a highly organized and reliable Admin / Inventory Officer to join our team in Akute. This is a hybrid role that demands both operational structure and logistical precision. You will be the primary custodian of our inventory accuracy and the engine behind our daily office administration. If you are a proactive problem-solver who enjoys maintaining order and precision in a fast-paced environment, this role offers a great opportunity to manage key business processes.

Requirements:

  • Administrative Oversight: Manage daily office operations to ensure a functional and professional work environment. You will be responsible for maintaining impeccable documentation and robust filing systems.

  • Inventory Management: Take full charge of stock records. You will monitor inventory levels, track the movement of incoming and outgoing goods, and conduct regular physical stock counts to ensure system records match physical reality.

  • Procurement & Vendor Liaison: Facilitate procurement processes by liaising with vendors and suppliers to ensure we have the necessary resources on hand without unnecessary waste.

  • Discrepancy Resolution: Perform routine reconciliations between physical stock and system records; you must be quick to identify and report variances.

  • Reporting: Prepare accurate, data-backed inventory and administrative reports to assist management in making informed purchasing and operational decisions.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Education: OND, HND, or B.Sc. in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

  • Experience: 1–3 years of hands-on experience in an administrative or inventory management role.

  • Technical Skills:

    • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with a high level of comfort using Microsoft Excel for tracking and reporting.

  • Key Competencies:

    • Organizational Skills: A disciplined approach to record-keeping and data management.

    • Attention to Detail: Meticulous approach to counting and tracking stock to prevent loss.

    • Communication: Ability to work effectively with vendors and internal team members.

    • Reliability: A proactive mindset and the ability to work independently to maintain operational efficiency.

Salary

₦150,000 - ₦170,000/month
