Job Description:
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and expense tracking.
- Prepare financial statements, reports, and reconciliations in compliance with accounting standards.
- Monitor cash flow, budgets, and expenditures.
- Maintain accurate records of all transactions and ensure timely postings.
- Support financial audits, tax filings, and regulatory compliance.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide insights for business decisions.
- Collaborate with management to improve internal controls and financial efficiency.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or similar).
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations, tax laws, and compliance standards in Nigeria.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and organizational abilities.
- ICAN or relevant professional certification (completed or in progress) is an advantage.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum of 2–4 years of relevant accounting experience (preferably in fintech, tech, or startup environments).
