Job Description:

We are seeking a precise and highly analytical Accountant to oversee our financial health and ensure total regulatory compliance. In this role, you will be responsible for the entire accounting cycle from maintaining meticulous ledgers to providing the strategic insights that drive our financial decisions. The ideal candidate is an expert in accuracy, capable of navigating complex tax laws and delivering clear, actionable reporting to management.

Requirements:

• Financial Reporting & Analysis: Prepare and maintain comprehensive financial records, including journals and ledgers. Analyze data to produce critical reports such as Profit & Loss statements and Balance Sheets.

• Tax & Compliance: Ensure the organization remains in full compliance with all relevant tax laws. Lead the preparation and timely filing of tax returns.

• Budgetary Oversight: Monitor departmental budgets and provide accurate forecasts to support long-term financial performance.

• Audit Management: Conduct regular internal audits and act as the primary point of contact to assist with external audit requirements.

• Reconciliation: Perform routine bank statement reconciliations and proactively resolve any financial discrepancies.

• Strategic Advisory: Serve as a financial advisor to leadership, identifying cost-reduction opportunities and providing data-backed recommendations for major financial decisions.

• Standards Adherence: Maintain all records in strict accordance with professional standards such as GAAP or IFRS.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Experience: Relevant work experience in a corporate accounting or finance role (years required will scale with seniority level).

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in industry-standard accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or Sage) and advanced Microsoft Excel.

• Regulatory Knowledge: A deep understanding of local and international financial regulations and tax standards.
