Job Description:
We are seeking a meticulous an experienced Accountant to oversee our financial operations. This role is central to maintaining the fiscal health of the organixzation, requiring a professional who understands the specific complexities of hospitality accounting from daily revenue reconciliation to specialized software management.
The ideal candidate will be highly organized, possess a sharp eye for detail, and bring proven expertise in managing the financial lifecycle of a busy hotel environment.
Requirements:
Financial Operations & Reporting
Revenue Reconciliation: Manage daily revenue audits and reconciliation to ensure all guest transactions and department sales are accurately captured.
Financial Reporting: Prepare comprehensive financial statements and reports in accordance with hospitality accounting standards.
Expense Management: Oversee the tracking and processing of operational expenses, ensuring proper authorization and documentation.
Payroll & Stock Management
Payroll Administration: Process staff payroll, ensuring accuracy in deductions, bonuses, and timely disbursement.
Inventory Oversight: Manage and verify stock reports, performing regular audits of food, beverage, and consumable inventories to minimize waste and loss.
Software & Compliance
System Mastery: Utilize Hotelman Software to manage all accounting entries and financial tracking.
Accountability: Ensure all financial practices comply with internal policies and external regulatory requirements.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education:
Minimum of an HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Experience:
Mandatory: Previous working experience specifically within a hotel or hospitality environment.
Technical Proficiency:
Expert knowledge of Hotelman Software is a strict requirement.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general accounting principles.
Core Competencies:
Analytical Skills: Strong ability to manage complex financial data and identify discrepancies.
Communication: Good interpersonal and organizational skills to collaborate with various department heads.
Integrity: A high level of accountability and professional ethics.
Location:
Candidates must be able to work on-site in Utako, Abuja.
