Job Description:
We are seeking a meticulous and service-oriented Account Officer to join our team in Lagos. In this role, you will be the guardian of financial accuracy and the primary point of contact for financial inquiries. You will manage the full cycle of financial transactions—from daily record-keeping to the preparation of insightful financial statements.

Requirements:
1. Financial Governance & Integrity
Transaction Management: Oversee and record daily financial transactions, ensuring 100% accuracy and alignment with local accounting standards.
Statement Preparation: Analyze financial data to prepare comprehensive monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Record Stewardship: Maintain organized and secure financial records, ensuring they are audit-ready at all times.
2. Strategic Planning & Analysis
Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist management in developing realistic budgets and financial forecasts to guide the company's growth.
Analytical Insights: Evaluate financial reports to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost optimization.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all financial activities strictly adhere to Nigerian financial regulations and reporting requirements.
3. Client Relations & Collaboration
Financial Diplomacy: Communicate effectively with clients to address inquiries, resolve account discrepancies, and provide exceptional customer service.
Cross-Functional Support: Liaise professionally with team members across departments to ensure financial alignment and operational efficiency.
Detail-Driven Execution: Work efficiently in an on-site team environment, ensuring all administrative financial tasks are completed with precision.
Qualifications and Skills:
Professional Profile
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience: Proven experience managing financial data. Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or Tally) is an advantage.
Technical IQ: Solid understanding of local accounting standards and proficiency in preparing/analyzing financial statements.
