Job Description:

Mechanical Fitter

Requirements:

• Carry out preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance of mechanical equipment.
• Handle shutdown tasks and mechanical troubleshooting.
• Assemble, install, and align new machinery.
• Maintain safety standards and comply with the company’s health and environment policies.

Qualifications and Skills:

• For Fitter: 5+ years’ experience in DRI 350 Plant.
• For Sr Fitter: 8+ years’ experience in DRI 350 Plant.
• National Diploma or Trade Training Certificate.
• Expertise in handling mechanical and hydraulic systems in a large manufacturing plant.
• Skilled in troubleshooting, reading blueprints, and using technical manuals.

Competencies:

• Communication skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure.
• Knowledge of mechanical equipment and maintenance.
