Job Description:

Financial Management:

• Record daily sales, purchases, and expenses accurately in the accounting system.
• Reconcile daily cash, POS, and online payments against sales reports.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
• Monitor and report on store cash flow and liquidity.

Inventory and Cost Control:

• Track stock movement and ensure accurate valuation of inventory.
• Work with the store manager to identify discrepancies between physical stock and records.
• Calculate cost of goods sold (COGS) and assist in pricing strategies for products and beauty services.

Financial Reporting:

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Provide management with financial performance reports and analysis (e.g., sales trends, profit margins).
• Support budgeting and forecasting activities.

Compliance and Audit:

• Ensure compliance with tax regulations, including VAT, PAYE, and corporate tax filings.
• Liaise with external auditors, tax authorities, and regulatory bodies when required.
• Maintain organized and up-to-date financial documentation.

Administrative Support:

• Assist with payroll preparation and employee expense reimbursements.
• Support procurement by maintaining vendor records and verifying invoices.
• Contribute to process improvements in store operations and financial management.

Requirements:

• Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree with 2 - 3 years experience.
• Candidates who reside close proximity to lekki are strongly advised to apply.
